The Right Start - Fiber Arts Tools

Learn basic between center woodturning in the morning and spend the afternoon making tools you can use for your craft. Choose from darning egg, nostepinne, drop spindle, niddy noddy, orifice hooks and more. Turn, sand & finish your projects and take them home ready to use on your next fiber arts project. Instructors: Mark Supik & Danielle Craven-Slaski

8:30 AM meet your classmates. Coffee. Donuts from Hoehn's.
9:00 AM to Noon. Lathe operation, woodturning safety. Use of the roughing gouge, spindle gouge & parting tool.
Noon to 1 pm. Lunch provided from DiPasquale's Market
1 pm to 5 pm. Fiber Tool Projects.

Students are provided with the safety equipment, an individual lathe and set of tools to use during the workshop. All project materials provided. Class size is limited to 6. Cost is $150 for the all day workshop, $50 deposit required to hold your space, refundable up to one week prior to class.
