Open shop hours for woodturners with basic skills. Morning & afternoon sessions. Bring wood & tools, or use ours. $30 for 3 hours. Morning session 9 am - noon. Afternoon session 1-4 pm. Each session begins with a brief demonstration of a new skill. Project supplies available. Designed as time for students with woodturning class experience to practice their new skills. Phone or e-mail to reserve a lathe. Lathes are available for morning and/or afternoon sessions.
Field Trips to Mark Supik & Co. We welcome woodworking clubs, homebrew clubs, fiber arts groups, school and scout groups for tours of our shop. Demonstrations of spindle and face plate turning. Learn how beer tap handles are made visit the "beer tap museum". Call or e-mail us to make arrangements.

Eat Local! Mark Supik Woodturning Workshops likes to keep things local. Our morning workshop donuts come from Hoehn's Bakery on Bank & Conkling Streets in Highlandtown and our lunches are made at DiPasquale's Italian Market on Gough Street and Santonis Markets on Lombard Street, both in Highlandtown.
