Jerry Kermode visits from California. We're ooking forward to this year's visit by Jerry and Deborah Kermode in February. In Baltimore for the American Craft Council, Jerry will join Mark & his staff for a day of demonstrations for the local woodturning clubs on Sunday, February 2st. On Sunday, Feb. 28th, both Jerry & Mark will demonstrate woodturning at the ACC show. |

Woodturning with Your Child. Mark Supik Woodturning Workshops welcomed 7 young woodturners and their parents to the shop in January for a new workshops, Woodturning with Your Child. In two half day sessions, Mark led the young students through woodturning basics, tool safety and technique. Everyone went home with completed projects and confident smiles. 9 Foot Cedar Porch Posts Custom Turned. These 9 foot cedar porch posts are heading to their new home in one of Baltimore's historic neighborhoods. They were turned on a long bed Oliver lathe with the capacity to turn wooden columns and posts up to 13 feet long. These were custom made to perfectly match the originals. Ma Rollers turned for local Baltimore business. We welcomed back Will Supik to the shop over his January break from Towson Univesrity to help with this year's order of Ma Rollers for Oak Tree Physical Therapy in Baltimore. Beer Tap Making Tour. Local homebrew club, Cross Street Irregulars, members will watch Joe & Danielle turn, cast and finish beer tap handles in February. Club members will visit the 'beer tap museum' to see samples of the custom tap handles we've mades. These tap markers ship all over the country, but club members will be looking for their favorite local taps in the collection.
