All day workshop designed for beginners. Starting with basic tool use, learn woodturning techniques by producing a variety of turned items. Each class covers lathe safety, tool sharpening and the use of the basic turning tools and then focuses on an afternoon project.

Fall 2008 Workshops

8:30 AM Meet your classmates. Coffee & donuts from Hoehn’s Bakery. 

9 AM to 12 Noon.  Safety, Tools, Lathe operation, tool sharpening

Noon -1 PM.  Lunch provided from DiPasquale's & Santoni's Markets

1 PM – 5 PM.  Projects, sanding, finishing

Students are provided with the safety equipment, an individual lathe and set of tools to use during the workshop. All project materials provided

Class size is limited to 5. Cost:  $150 for the all day workshop.

$50 deposit required, refundable up to one week prior to class.
